Courageous Kids Climbing

Courageous Kids Climbing is a group of rock climbers based in central Idaho, who volunteer to take children with special needs (developmental and physical) and teach them how to rock climb in area climbing gyms. There is no charge for what we do and we do not collect money. Everything we do is FREE!

Since 1988, Community Action Center (CAC) has been a primary resource for thousands of people and families experiencing poverty in Whitman County, and we operate as a private nonprofit with IRS 501(c)(3) charitable status.

a national organization that provides information, support and assistance to parents of children with disabilities, their professional partners and their communities. By allowing these families to more fully participate in community life, children with special needs are able to grow to their full potential. The Federation promotes the active and informed participation of parents of children with special needs in shaping and influencing public policies that affect their families. The peer support network the group provides allows for families to meet with those who can relate and understand.

The Idaho Out-of-School Network’s (ION) mission is to ensure Idaho’s youth have access to high quality out-of-school (OST) programs. Provides training to afterschool programs in the area can help families find an afterschool provider in their area.
