Family Unity Recreation Activities
Our family unity recreation activities provide families an opportunity to have a structured recreation activity with other families who have children with disabilities, and with other member of the community. This is an opportunity for parent to get to know each other, and for children to renew friendships.
Some of our past activities have included community wide pool parties, a night of learning at the Palouse Science Discovery Center (where families have the opportunity to interact with local emergency service workers) while learning a great deal about science, hands-on/interactive learning environment while getting to network with other kids and families.
Defy Jump Park & Hamilton-Lowe Swim Park
This Summer we got the opportunity to hang out with families at the Moscow Defy jump park and Hamilton-Lowe Swim Park. Many of our families were able to take advantage or our Mind, Body, Soul Family Pass Program funded by Lewis-Clark Healthcare Foundation that allowed us to get families out of the house, in the community and getting active, TOGETHER!
