Here is a little bit about him...
Michael Le Roy Kane
Born Feb.1,1954 in Barstow California to Henry and Bernice Kane. Mike is the second oldest of 16 siblings, 5 boys and 11 girls. The family was Roman Catholic. The Kanes grew up in Compton and Los Angeles. In 1975 Mike married Brenda. They have 2 natural born children and 3 adopted children. Michael worked for 30 years in the concrete reinforcing steel business as a draftsman. In 2002 Michael was diagnosed with terminal bone marrow cancer. His life is being sustained by faith and chemotherapy. Mike moved from Spokane to Pullman in 2007 to pastor a Christian congregation of students and faculty at Washington State University.
