Listen to it and acknowledge it. Everybody deserves the right to feel sorry for themselves, even a child. Listen and nod. Don’t try to fix anything. Just listen.

Family Tree

Christmas time has come and gone,

And we still have our tree.

We’re going to leave it up all year,

We’ve got a plan you see.

It’s going to be our family tree,

We think this will be fun.

We’re hoping that it will be full,

By the time the year is done.

Every month you’ll have a chance,

To add a decoration.

And at the end of the year,

We’ll have a celebration.

So be sure to watch for email,

That I’ll be sending you.

Every month you’ll get one,

Explaining what to do.

NEW STAR ON OUR TREE!
