U-call

You need to be involved with your child’s education if you want your child to be successful. This means you need to contact the teacher regularly to see how your child is doing in school.
Don’t sit at home and talk about the teacher, the school, the principal, or the other children. Pick up the phone and call. Set up an appointment. Go in and talk to the teacher about your child.
You and your child’s teacher should be a team - a team who believes in your child and wants what is best for him. A good team talks to each other - a lot.

Victory

One of the most important parts of helping a child do well in school is celebrating his success. Put those papers on the wall, talk about school at the dinner table, plan special events that relate to success in school. Let your child know that you are proud of him and that school is a priority in your home
