Children Who Challenge Part 1 Topic:  Using Positive Behavior Supports to improve the classroom environment

  • What All children Need: Creating positive environments in the classroom
  • What Most Children Need:  Teaching social skills to improve the social interactions in your classroom

This first webinar will assess the environments and gives specific examples of how to manage the environment to prevent behavior problems and teach appropriate behaviors.   This workshop stresses meeting the needs of the child and presents strategies that are nonpunitive.

Children Who Challenge Part 2 Topic: Addressing the needs of children with severe behavior problems

  • What a few children need:  Developing a behavior plan to prevent behavior problems and teach replacement behaviors.

The second webinar will discusses behavior management strategies that will be effective for the most challenging children who need individual assistance in maintaining and/or learning appropriate social skills and behaviors at home and at school.  These are children who are disruptive in daycare or preschool settings and/or difficult at home. This workshop will also address the needs of ch80.ildren who display violent behaviors toward adults and other children.

Come join Chris Curry, a dynamic and motivational speaker, as she shares tried and true methods for working with young children with behaviors that challenge.
